So I知 using a th400 in my 2000 Blazer with a 5.3L and using a Current Performance harness. I知 using the 0411 ecm so I need to get a speed sensor in the TH400. I see Dakota digital has a sensor that screws on to the mechanical Speed-o on the trans buts it痴 a three wire and my harness is for a factory 2 wire. I知 not sure how to make that work. My question is will the 02 Silverado vss fit in the th400 ?

This is what you need for the sensor, and what i am using with 411 pcm..

Unfortunately all the new old stock cheap th400 electronic speed sensors have been bought up. I bought one of the last available new ones from a parts store back in 2016.
The Dakota is your only other option and i'm not sure how to wire it for the 411 pcm. Maybe throw em an email and ask?

I'll attach a pdf of the VSS circuit, J2-21 is HI ... J2-20 is LO
I will be trying this myself soon so subbed, but its a complete engine swap using a 411 PCM so not sure how long its gonna take before I report back to say if it works as above or not. You might get there first OP. I have bought one though and its on its way.
Im kinda bummed the OEM sensors seem to have dried up as its such a clean install, I wouldve bought a box of em back in the day if i knew theyd stop making them. The guys on ebay selling used ones are asking a lot, and by the time I get one sent down under with freight and taxes, double that amount... so i'll try the dakota digital.

Buy this install on the speedo cable. Wire to PCM, Tune PCM for the 8k signal make sure the speedo gear drives are right for your tire and gear ratios. Enjoy. If you need a VSS for other things like CC or ABS then get the converter box for it more spendy but works. But depending on what output you need the PCM can buffer it as well.

Dakota Digital sells a pass thru 2 wire pass thru sine wave VSS that allows you to use your mechanical speedo too. It works, not sure if a 3 wire square wave will work. DD also has a short speedo cable extension if the VSS is tight against your floor pan. It does not put out a high enough ppm to get the 411s DBW cruise control to work well. I've also used aftermarket 2 wire VSS on a manual trans revere gear as a reluctor. You just need the spacing between the VSS and reluctor to put out enough voltage for the 411.
