6-pin TB on an LS1 PCM?
Hello, first post here.
I've searched high and low but haven't found a single hit addressing this specific question.
I have a 6-pin LS2 Silver-blade TB (from a 2008-ish Corvette, I believe) and I'm building up an LQ9 from a 2006-2007 Silverado. The harness from the Silverado has an 8-pin throttle body connector, TAC p/n 12573059, Accelerator pedal p/n 15177923, and PCM p/n12576106 (HDW No. 12570558 YCTJ). From the best of my research it seems that the 2 additional wires are just an extra TPS signal, but simply omitting them doesn't work. It appears that the only solution is the $240 TorqueRush X-Link Adapter, but It looks like a lot of the standalone harness manufacturers have 6-pin DBW harnesses using the same PCM (maybe they assume you have a TAC/pedal for 6-pin already?).
So...Can I reconfigure my setup to work without using the X-link, or no?
