I needed an NSS Pigtail for my standalone harness. The harness I have is from a 2000 Silverado and it was pretty butchered, so I pulled a NSS Pigtail from a 2000 Blazer, assuming since both have a 4l60e they would both be the same. They aren't though. Can I still use the Blazer pigtail? I've provided pinouts so you can follow along.
This is the pinout for the silverado, notice it has two transmission mounted NSS outputs This is the one for the blazer. Notice it only has one NSS output. And where would I connect pin E on my harness?
If this is even possible to do please let me know! I guess I could just match wires right?
What exactly are you trying to do with this? If the pigtail fits the switch, then yes, you can use it, but the wire colors are off on a couple of them. As for the Silverado having two NSS outputs, one is park and neutral, the other is just park which is used for the shift interlock, you shouldn't need that on a swap unless the car you are putting this in is new enough to have that.
