E36 LS1, Alternator short = blown starter?
Last week the alternator power line shorted, either worn from rubbing or hit the header. I ran a new line and installed a new alternator since I had one on the shelf.
Now the car wont turn over. 1 click. Never had issue starting prior.
I tested all the standard spots with a voltmeter, checked fuses, and tried to jump with a 2nd battery.
Is it possible the short blew out the started solenoid?
