Mustang rack

Does anyone know if the 79-93 mustang manual rack will fit a 2001 mustang

I think the rack will bolt up but you would need to use the outer tie rods and ends from the newer car, and they will fit the older rack.

The shape of the end of the input shaft is different also, so there will be a compatibility issue with your existing steering shaft.

Outer tie rods of 94 and later are metric thread and will NOT screw onto rack made for Foxbody, Fox are 9/16” thread, s
SNs are 14mm thread You can get long Fox outers to reach the track width of an SN95. Or Use a kmember and A arms for Fox on your SN, it pulls the wheels inside a bit which is only good if you’re running skinny’s or narrower wheels up front.
