LS swap wiring help
I have the motor and transmission installed. Now I’m trying to turn over the motor before I rip apart the wire harness I want to make sure it works so I’m sure it worked before I start pulling wires.
that said I already removed 90% of the cut wires that weren’t needed or cut from the truck when I removed it. Mostly the C3 and 4 block wires.
Well now I have power to the starter which I can get to spin. But when I prime the fuel lines and go to start it. Sometimes the A9 ignition clicks and other times I can’t get it to engage no matter what I do even if I attach it straight to the battery terminal.
But random times if I push or fiddle with the main wire loom or ECU it clicks. I was able to get it to click every time I moved the fuze block into the wire harness but when I touched every bit and sections of wires nothing changed. Unless I pushed the block, wire harness and ECU together.
My neighbor thinks bad ground. But I have the main ground the the factory section of the block going to the negative battery terminal, the 2 small grounds on the back of the block on top from the main loom to the firewall. I also have the block grounded to a engine mount bolt to the frame.
im lost on what is not grounded or getting hot.
Any suggestions?
Red wires have 12v constant power from the battery. Can you guys provide photos of what grounds and positive inputs need to be connected to make this work?
