Default Holley LS install kits

Just some advice....... If you are planning on doing a LS swap into a car that Holley has a engineered install kit for.......... Do yourself a very large favor and use their kit for your install.......Toddoky has every detail on these install's dialed in perfectly........ Save time and aggravation and just use the complete Holley kit including the headers and exhaust systems......... Again..... Great job Todd.....Do it "Correctly" the first time.....LOL

Ditto, I used Holley components on my 84 C-10 build and everything fit as advertised. No grinding, cutting or cussing required. Good parts and made to fit...

I am doing just that on my 70 GTO which was swapped back in 2008 using a mix and match set of components. Needless to say various parts of the swap were not optimal. For instance, I used the then popular Autocraft oil pan as it was the only option available. While it cleared the crossmember when used with universal engine adapter plates, the inner tie rods hit the corners of the oil pan. I could have raised the engine a little to clear, but this would have made the already bad driveline situation even worse.

This is why I am currently in the process of collecting the parts needed to completely redo the swap, using the Holley swap system components, including the engine mounts, 302-3 oil pan, crossmember, headers, and full exhaust.
