Gen 5 LT and Restomod AC Control I'm in a little over my head. I have a Gen 5 L83 with a Corvette PWM fan. I have the PWM fan control wire in my Speartech harness to get the fans to work (haven't done that yet). Now I have a Restomod AC unit in there and a Sandon SD709 compressor. I'm trying to figure out how to get the fan to come on and the engine to idle up when it gets the AC on signal.......Is the Trinary switch the only way to do this or can I get the ECM to control this, I have no idea what I'm doing here.

The stock ECU has a pressure sensor in the AC system and it runs the fan speed based on both AC pressure and on engine temperature. Did the Speartech harness that you are using have the AC pressure plug on it? I would talk to them and see if it can be added.

First off, thank you for all the help you've given me Andrew, I really appreciate it.
I don't have that on my harness but I did order a muscle car module from Mitch at Swaptime. After watching his Y-tube video again he mentions that it will control the AC idle and fan control.....if I understand it correctly. I originally got it for tap shift and tow/haul mode but it seems to have more benefits with the AC and reverse signal. Hope I can get it all figured out haha. I've been wiring a complete new chassis harness from scratch so I'm coming up with questions I didn't even know about.
I've been wanting to learn more about how the Canbus system works and how things can be added but I don't even know where to start.
