944 clutch problem

944 clutch problem I am stumped. I got the LM7 running in my car, but when I depress the clutch pedal, the car will not go into gear. I can slam it in, but the car wants to lurch forward still. (Not good to do I know). At first I thought my MC was the problem, so I got a 7/8 wilwood. Well that popped the S10 SC instantly. Then I figured, I needed the C5 SC that’s supposed to be used in the swap. Got that on and together today using the wilwood MC. It does not look better. I have not set the trans yet, just installed the torque tube and am watching the clutch with the lower cover off.
I am using
C5 flywheel
1989 Dodge D150 clutch kit LUK brand
01 C5 SC
7/8 Wilwood MC
AN hose

I guess I am asking, is there any measurements I can take to verify anything?

Kinda sorta. Pulled the PP off today, figured out the clutch disc is hitting the pilot bearing. I am very relieved to figure out the problem. I think I will pull the adapter and have some meat shaved off the back of it and adjust the driveshaft to work with it.
