Where did you order it Jim? They have unfortunately been on back order for a long time. I think places like Summit and/or Jegs had them in stock a while ago, but may be sold out now. You could also check to see if a part number with the same main harness, but different injector harness may be in stock. Injector harnesses are an easy swap.

 

Summit is showing 550-926 and -927 in stock with more than 10 each.

there is a global shorted of electronics components right now. Not surprising that low volume consumer products are backordered - tier 1's cant even get parts right now

 

Thanks guys. I seen them both back ordered when I ordered. Jegs said is was about 14 days closer to ship but I didn�t believe it. The last time I was on Jegs, They changed the day as Summit did also. Going further out IIRC. I�m not just waiting for this pc, so I�ll wait. I know I should of waited before I bought my cam and lifters.

I read lifters we�re on back order too, when I ordered. That made me order cam kit before I got the Terminator. I prolly won�t get it all installed until next year if I�m lucky. Just no time or energy

 

Ordered mine on 6/5 and received on 6/8 from summit.

 

what part number? Summit nor Jegs had mine in stock. I�ll try calling Holley Friday afternoon to try and get a ETA

I ordered the 550-0909T. Check and see if they have your kit without the handheld... kits come two ways 1.) with a handheld and cost is about $1k. 2.) comes without a handheld and instead comes with a CAN USB adapter for laptop tuning and cost about $900. I opted for the USB as the car is boosted and will need the laptop tuning anyways. I also have a handheld from another kit running in a NA setup so I can always swap between the two. Don't forget the Holley alternator harness 197-400 for $18 as you will need it bc the term X doesn't do alternator control.

 

Another thing you could do Jim is similar to what I did. Find the kit that you can get in stock, and then just buy the harnesses you'll need individually. There are a ton of guys selling either the DBW or Trans harnesses on FB marketplace groups. As long as you find a kit with the X Max ECU and the 58x harness, you can always get the other harnesses you need. I'm eventually going with DBW, but since all the harnesses are wired for DBC I just got a Cable TB and will get the add on harness for DBW eventually.

 

I might have to do it that way. I�ll talk to them before I decide anything. I really wanted to drive my junk prior to moding the engine for the seat of pants butt dyno.

I have been dragging my feet of buying a new laptop. I might just have to get one that Holley works with.
