Default LT1 to lq4

Hey guys. So I have a little bit of a cluster going on. Let me start by say I have a 1999 trans am with out the small block. I have everything else. This car was an automatic. With that said, I recently purchased a 1993 6in absolute prestige condition with the exception of the motor needing to be replaced. I am going to purchase an lq4 or lq9 and my machinist is going to be able to get up over 500 horse power with some head work, cam and a valve job. Anyway my question is other than the computer and harness..what else am I going to need to make this work? I'm assuming I'm going to need a different bellhousing for the transmission. What parts can I grab off of my 99? Will the motor mounts from the 99 work? Any modifications that need to be made? Any kind of input would be greatly appreciated!!

You will need Fbody spaced accessories, to include drilling the mount hole for the alternator, LS k-member and steering rack, LS Fbody oil pan, and a car intake. You can use the 4L60 (non-E) that came in the car, you will just need the crankshaft spacer. You will also need a fuel pressure regulator like the C5 filter/regulator assembly. You can also wire it to keep your factory 93 gauges with an 0411 PCM.

Right on, FYI, be advised that the 93 T56 is a one year only, either an M28 or an M29, depending on the market for them, it may be more cost/time effective to get an LS T56 rather than getting the input shaft/midplate/bell to convert yours.
