Default Ls3, '04 gto t56

Im having slave cylinder issues with my setup, as im completely lost. I have a 2013 Ls3 with an LS7 clutch/ flywheel setup. I orignally put the ls1 slave in and it didnt even touch the pressure plate fingers. i got a new gto slave and same deal. The Corvette slave has different fittings for the clutch line so i didnt use it. So i ended up with .675" in spacers behind the gto slave and got virtually .010" air gap. I bought a Sikky GTO shifter and it wont go into any gear but 1st sitting stationary but if i bump it i can go into other gears. I believe its the orignal bellhousing for the trans too. Can you guys help with what setups you guys are running or if anyone has any ideas???

Thanks!

If your LS3 from a Corvette or Camaro?

Now that I think about it, it shouldn't matter...A F-body slave with the LS7 clutch should fit perfectly in that combination of parts. Some pictures would be helpful.

I had a T56 magnum behind a LS6 with a 2002 fbody slave and LS7 clutch, pressure plate and flywheel. Worked great. Could you have a bleeding problem?

I have a practically new 7/8" Wilwood master, with a speed bleed on the slave cylinder, and bled it serval times to make sure air wasnt the issue. Im not seeing the benefit of the F Body slave?, ive had both. Neither reach my pressure plate.. without spacers..
