Finally tried out another PCM. Stock 2000 SS, vats removed. On first start, it idled perfectly fine if not only a hair high (perhaps cold startup)

Got excited, went to go out for a drive around the neighborhood, and on 2nd startup, it’s back to 1500 rpm.

Any ideas?
