Dirty Dingo Motor Mounts Quick question on the Dirty Dingo mounts for those of you who have used them. I know they can slide forward and back, but can you shift the engine left/right diagonally?
For example: if you needed to pull the transmission tailshaft over to more easily locate the bolt holes that go from the crossmember into the transmission mount.
Will the dingo mounts allow that kind of movement or or they just restricted to slide to the front and back?

Look at it this way- if either mount allows fore/aft movement, moving the tail shaft will move one mount forward, and the other aft. Have all bolts a bit loose, and pushing the tail shaft housing right or left should allow some movement within limitations.

I had very tight hood and power steering clearance. I just used washers under the motor mounts (between frame and lower mount) to adjust left right up and down as needed. It was easier than I thought to shim the motor with the motor trans installed.
