I've been searching all over but cannot seem to find any info on successful LS Swaps into 60-66 GM factory 4x4 trucks. There are tons of 2wd swaps, and I often hear people say that there are clearance issues with 4x4 trucks, but I'd love some more info. Anyone out there successfully LS swap any 60-66 GM 4x4s?

I have a 1960 GMC K1000 with an original 305 V6, SM 420, Rockwell T221 divorced transfer case, closed knuckle Dana 44 front and Dana 60 rear. Looking to dump the 305 and LS swap. I would like to keep the SM 420 and T-case, but am flexible on that if doing so will cause major issues. I'm mostly looking for physical mounting information. I can handle the wiring, etc.
