v6 to ls1
Did it would do it again, but there are several hurdles onnthe electrical side. I went way beyond a simple swap, but there are a ton of posts on it and quite a few have done
Engine harness swappable
Fuel system is different
motor mounts aren't the same and requires ls1 k member and power steering rack.
brakes may be different the ls1 brakes became standard in later years or were a performance option on some v6 models
read end gear on the v6 woudlnt be great but doable
need t56 and driveshaft
Underhood wiring For the v6 needs addition circuit to power bank 2 of injectors in the fuse relay box.
98 fuel level gushes work differently then 99 and upss andnthe ls1 98 ecm is wired differently then later years.
springs would need to be changed but id do some suspension work all around at that point.
I'm sure I'm forgetting something since it was so long ago andni didn't go back oe
