Default Need some Wiring help please....

Cannot get my cruise control to work after my A4 to M6 swap. I have the nuetral switch wires run to the clutch switch and that works fine. I have my reverse lights and reverse lockout solenoid working fine. There were two wires left out of the wiring cluster going to the A4 shifter. From what I have read, the only thing you should do would be to connect the two remaining wires together (don't understand the logic in this, but this is what I have read) which should make the cruise control work, but it doesn't. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.

I believe the problem you are having is due to the clutch pedal position signal. The wire for this goes to pin 32 of the Blue connector on your ECM.
This wire would not be present with the auto setup, so you will probably have to ad it, or move one of the wires you are no longer using in order to have it.
The signal needed is 12V in to the ECM when the clutch engaged, and an open signal when you pres the pedal. This is probably why you have no C/C because the signal is open all the time now.

Thanks, I was afraid that it was going to be something that wasn't hooked into the wiring harness. I swapped wiring harnesses and computers, so I am assuming that there is a wire going into the pcm where it should be, it just needs to have wire run to it from the clutch switch...??? What suprised me was that I put my A4 PCM in last night just to try it and the cruise control works fine. Can you tell me how the pins are numbered on the computer/harness?

The speedo is going to be out because the relucotr wheel is different in a Man vs. Auto.
The pins are numbered on the metal part of the connector. Pull the gray wire cover off of the back of the blue connector and you will see the numbers raised slightly in the metal.

Easy enough. Can't believe I never noticed that. Thanks.
