Default Running Front plate without mid plate?

Hi,

I have a LS swap S4 and looking to convert my custom engine mount/cross member to front plate for weight reduction. This would remove the custom cross member, engine mount + Engine mount bracket.

Looking into the plate it looks like typically it is installed with a mid plate but looking at how the transmission is mounted, it looks like It would also serve as one would it not? (see first picture)
I also have a Drivetrain stabilizer bar which is how a trans is "normally" mounted. (see 2nd pic)

With those 3 points of contact at the transmission would a Mid plate still be needed?
Thoughts?

I think you'll be perfectly fine with that setup, I run a front plate with no mid plate, just a trans mount.
