doing a swap into a volvo 740 the car will start but has very high idle and peddle does nothing. but when key on but not running the peddle works?? what would cause this any ideas? engine came out of 06 silverado all alm 5.3 and im using hp tuners to tune it.

 

maybe post this up in the PCM and tuning forum, some smart guys in there who might have more of a chance at seeing your question.

I've had something similar happen to me it turned out to be a power interruption once the vehicle started. Once the vehicle is running do you have any MIL codes? P1518 perhaps? If any codes are present clear the codes while the vehicle is running and see if the pedal comes back.
