Dakota Digital BIM-01-2 question
Dakota Digital BIM-01-2 question I’m not sure if this is the correct area to post this but I assumed a lot of people doing LS swaps may be changing out the gauges also. If there is anyone using the BIM-01-2 with their gauges what all information does it send to the cluster ? My setup is a 2001 LS1 with matching factory harness and ECM. I’m just trying to decide if it’s worth the extra $110, I would like for the gear indicator to work but if the factory computer does not supply that information I will buy the DD gear position sensor instead.

It will give you speedometer, tach, coolant temp and a check engine light. Fuel and oil pressure will need their own senders. Some people say the shift indicator will work, but didn't on my 2001 LS1 so I bought the sender for it and it works great now.
E40 ecm ls2/t56 and I don't have gear indicator but have all the normal stuff plus iat's. My tuner adjusted the tire size while tuning and the speedo works perfect compared to GPS.
