Default Ls swap wiring question

So I’m currently in the process of ls swapping a 2008 Cadillac CTS 3.6L. I am basically done with my swap except for the wiring. So the engine I swapped in is originally an lq4 6.0 that I converted to 58x with all the sensors and what not for easier communication with the newer style canbus that’s in the car originally(so it’s basically an iron block ls2 now) and It’s paired up to a 4l80 transmission. There is a guy who did this swap with an l76 and used all the stock wiring And ECU from the G8. I need help finding the best ECU and harness for my swap without going stand alone. I know a 2007-2009 express van harness and ECU will work but I can’t find one. Im looking for any pointers on this, thanks!

You did swap that reluctor ring on the crank or a whole 58x crank correct? How are you programming it? If you have to buy HPTuners in addition to a harness and a stock pcm and tcm just to get this running I would seriously just buy a Holley Terminator. If I didn't already have HPTuners this is the route I would've gone. Its extremely cost effective for what it is and if you add in the Bosch 4.9 wideband it really is a good deal.
However if you are able to program it yourself I believe any e38 will work if you reflash it. You'd have to pick up a TCM for the 4l80e which can also be reflashed this was the cheapest route I found when I was looking into it. Good luck.

I had a machine shop swap out the reluctor rings. I did forget the mention that I already have hp tuners. A stand alone system is no less than 1k and I want to avoid it at all cost. Does the year matter for the TCM? And should I try to get a vehicle specific e38 ?
