I hate my ford 302 and t5 combo, so I'm parting it out in favor of a ls1 t56 dropout swap. The car is a 1992 foxbody lx was a manual already.

I'm going for a no frills engine swap and build. Literally stock.

Hoping to hear from anybody who did the swap and some advice from people who spent their own time and money making mistakes so I don't have to.


-Figure I'll need to find a way to attach the throttle cable
Motor mounts. (foxbody has. Tubular k member already)
-transmission mount.
-Radiator hoses
-Driveshaft. ( figure I'll just swap yokes, hopefully the driveshaft is the right length. )
- Car is already setup with a Fuel system and regulator
- exhaust
- wiring is easy im a wiz with a mtimeter and can read diagrams, stock ecu and harness

what am I missing/ recommendations
