You should be able to use any year after 05, just none older.
Any Gen IV aluminum block 5.3 can be made to conform to the configuration required for your vehicle.

Some Gen IV are 24x. Most are 58x. You need to know which yours is. No way for me to tell.

24X (2005-06), 58X (2007-09) this is what it says in the ls page mine's a 2005 so I guess mine's a 24 times

24x. Not 24 times. Has to do with the number of teeth on the reluctor on the crank.
And you are correct. The LH6 is the only Gen IV 5.3 that came with 24x reluctors in its early years. Others (LC9, later LH6, LH8, LH9) can be converted to 24x but it involves complete teardown.
What do you mean by "blew up"? It might be rebuildable.

For the OP - I've found that Car-Part.com has a pretty good search function, & after you've gotten the results of your search, you can re-order the search results if you need to. It might help you to find a better deal on a replacement if you decide to go that route.

Good luck!
