Try to keep with the same throttle body type, same throttle pedal style and I think that would be a blue-green connector P59 PCM. If its an electronic throttle, drive by wire setup, you will also need the gas pedal and TAC module.

what he said. if you want to keep drive by wire, try to get a harness, PCM, and TAC module from a '05 (although 03 to 06 should be similar as long as drive by wire)
if you want to convert to drive by cable, grab a PCM and harness from an 01 or 02. just make sure its also an LM7 not an L59 as the injectors are different and will have slightly different connectors.

generally speaking you can use any pcm your heart desires as long as you have a way to flash/tune it and as for the harness you could always go the route of making yours if you’re interested in having a bit of fun head scratching.

it won’t matter but you will have to change the data for the speed calculation in the pcm as it would be accounting for the gears in the transfer case (not necessary but it could trigger fans wrongly and if you’re running ac could act weird and Ofc you’ll have the a wrong reading if you feed your dash from the pcm.)
