Swapping engine and trans from a 2015 Silverado into a 2005 Escalade. So I've recently picked up a 2005 Escalade with a 6.0 and its AWD. I also have a 2015 Silverado that isn't really drivable anymore (Loan issues). I was considering doing a powertrain swap as the Escalade has major transmission issues. Where would I begin on converting the escalade to take the 2015 engine, transmission, and Transfer case. I obviously know I'd have to have new driveshafts made, somehow transplant the ECM, TCM, and find a fix for the Power Steering ang brake system (it's Hydroboost, vs the 2015 has Electric Power steering). All in all I think It would be an awesome truck when finished but As to the process it's a little new to me. Any Ideas on where to begin?

That will be a ton of work, a lot of money and very hard to make the 2015 run in the 2005. How will you pass emissions? I would rebuild the 2005 trans and do heads and a small cam for the 6.0 and that thing will be a nice ride.
