Default Need help fitting headers!!
I bolted a 5.3 to a 4l60e and tucked it into a 2001 Jimmy. My steering shaft wouldn't allow for my s-10 conversion headers I started with. I only have 2 5/8" between my heads and the steering shaft. Has does anyone have a solution, I think I might have to reroute my steering?

The S10 and Jimmy should use the same headers, Have you looked in that area to find something that is known to fit?

I want to say that I've seen a two piece header that has the #5 tube wrapping around the steering shaft, but I can't remember who makes them.

My stainless works long tubes wrap around the shaft but I can't say I've seen shorty headers that do.
