Gen V L86 - squarebody - pedal issues
So I have a 2018 6.2/8L90 with low miles, bought a psi harness and computers. They installed a base tune but I had to overwrite it as I added rebuild the heads, cam, dod delete etc.
anyways PatG has been supporting me with remote tuning and it holds the idle solid but still having pedal issues.
I have two pedals, one is a 05-13 corvette 6 pin and the second is the pedal from the truck. I’ve pinned out each of the wires to the ecu and can confirm my 5v ref, signal and low ref are matched to the truck pedal.
If I ease into the pedal, it will respond accordingly, if I try and give it any throttle - quickly or to fast, it will grab and hang at 5k for 2-3 seconds then slowly drop back to idle.
I thought maybe a maf/map issue and replaced them in the event they were faulty. Same issue.
I’m using a 2014+ truck base system configuration with a custom tune. I’ll have to run the codes again this week.
is there something I’m missing? Possibly wiring to my map or maf potentially not pinned properly?
couple photos, don’t be to hyper critical, still no where close to where I want it. Custom frame, 4 corner coil, truck is body dropped to sit low over the frame. Been building it the last two years.
anyways nice "beginning?"... and please keep us up to date on the build...
