Default 5.3 to 4l80e

Hello, I have a gen 4 5.3 out of a 2012 gmc van, it was matted to a 6l90e. I sold the 6l90e and bought a 4l80e out of a 1999 chevy truck. Will these work together? Or should i sell ,and look for a gen 3 engine? Planning on doing a dod, vvt delete, buying a t42 mrk tcm, psi standalone harness, and have my ecm reprogrammed by lt1. Swapping into a 1958 cadillac. I would've used the 6l90e but it was going to hang way to low below the frame rails. Any answers, opinions, or thoughts would be much appreciated. Thanks.

the 99-00 4L80s were mated to short-crank LQ4s and LR4s... so you'll need to ensure your flexplate has the correct spacing. i've only owned manuals, so i ain't 100% up-to-speed on the specifics or part numbers, but i am certain that's a consideration with those year trucks.
