1 7/8 stainlessworks headers, 3” X pipe, 6” long dynomax bullets dumped at the axle
rev limiter is 7500 and I tickle that between shifts. It feels like it wants more as it isn’t nosing over when I shift lol
and thanks. 6 months of restoring this truck has finally paid off. Extremely happy with the looks and how it runs. Just need to cool it down some more. Runs 205ish and I don’t like that.

y’all are both correct. But my concern is that’s where it stays usually. It still climbs higher and I’m not OK with that being 12:1.
if it maxed out at 205 I wouldn’t worry. But that’s just sorta where it hangs out when cruising usually. I don’t want to rattle this thing apart. It’s carbed so no EFI control to pull timing if there is detonation and I wanna be able to beat the **** out of it any time and not worry about getting hotter. Lol

What kind of fan setup do you have? Any ducting to seal it off? Most trucks have yuge radiators so you might want to look into better fans like brushless style that will move a ton of air. Delta pag makes a great fan and stand alone controller thats pricey but works. https://deltapag.com/

Went to a 4 row and a single Taurus fan off Amazon. So far it is doing much better.
it will get over 200 sitting still by a bit. But, once I’m moving again it drops down below 200. Good enough
