Default Pulley alignment issue

I recently noticed that the main serpentine belt on my L33 is pretty chewed up at the front edge, despite very very low miles on the set up. I used a long ruler and checked that it was straight before using. I am using all factory truck accessories.

It appears that the crank, pulley and rest of the pulleys are in alignment, except for the power steering pump, which sticks out a little over an eighth of an inch .

I bought the bracket and pump used and separate from the engine as it did not come with any accessories. Did I get the wrong year power steering pump or something or is this a common problem? thanks in advance for any help or advice!

These pics the difference between the crank and ps pulley planes vs the crank and alternator(aligned).

Did you ever figure out the issue? I’m having this problem with my 5.3 LM7 with truck accessories. I’m running a slightly smaller PS pulley and it’s sticking out about 1/8” more than the crank pulley. And the pulley seems to be set all the way back onto the PS pump.

Double check to make sure it's all the way. There's a kit to properly install it on the Pump Shaft.

The pulley looks to be bottomed out. I used the autozone pulley tool to install it onto the pump shaft, and I am going to borrow it again to see if I can somehow push the in further although it looks to be bottomed out.

I went with the smaller pulley which was this one (300-202 equivalent):

Amazon Amazon

The truck bracket it is on did not come with the engine, but I figured any gen 3 truck PS / alternator accessory bracket would have the same spacing. The alternator seems to be at the proper spacing. I wonder if maybe the aftermarket PS pump I am using is the culprit?

Could be, then again that one is supposed to be the correct swap one and had been known for years. Looks straight in that picture, not crooked on the Water Pump.
