Default What engine perch?

I test fit the 5.3 with the tr6060 using the factory small block perched on my 71C10, I think it sits the motor to high and requires a steeper angle of motor and trans. Does any one make a perch that will sit engine closer to crossmember? I am using the Holley 302-2 pan and have plenty of room.

Speedway sales perches that use 98-02 f body clam shell mounts, anyone used them? How does Motor sit? Thanks

Lots of room... you should be able to fabricate your own pretty easily. Something like this. This kit is sold on ebay $120. You can do it yourself for much less

I'm using the Holley/Hooker/Speedway stands on my 68. The engine sits low and as a bonus you get rid of those crappy biscuit mounts.
Yes, you could fab something up, but for the price these are pretty slick.
I have some pics in my build thread. Posts 171 and 172 here: https://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/...=788602&page=7

I bought universal mounts, chopped them up and repositioned the engine rearward and down. The goals were low mount AC without cutting the frame, more clearance between the rad fans and accessory drive, and less dead space behind the intake like most 67-72 C10 swaps have

Great pics, really helped thanks! I am a member on C10 forum and for some reason will not allow me to post. Sent several messages to admin, no response
