O2 sensor plug adapters

O2 sensor plug adapters I purchased a 2003 corvette LS6 engine that I am converting over to DBC and will buy a new stand alone harness. The engine did not come with a harness. I see that most standalone harnesses that are not for DBW come with the black square connector for the 02 sensor. The current ones on the exhaust manifold are the flat black ones. Can I buy an adaptor to go from the square plug to the flat plug? If I can't use an adapter, and I purchase new 02 sensors to match the harness do I need to have the PCM reprogrammed to know what 02 sensors I am using? Thanks in advance

Not sure how you go that i cannot buy the correct one from the post. I can't buy a standalone harness for a 2003 Corvette because it will be wired for the DBW. Since I am converting it over to DBC I will need to get a harness for a 2002 Camaro that will be set up for DBC. It will then have the o2 sensors connectors for the square black ones. I hope this makes sense.

By "flat", do you mean the two row trapezoid style? Both are in the Metri-Pack 150 family of connectors and the terminals will interchange. All you do is take the terminals out of the wrong connector and put them back in to the correct connector from your old harness.
