Default 98 formula t56 swapped to a4

Sup guys new to the forum, been looking on this forum for years for info on my ls vehicles but never became a member till today. I have been searching alot of stickies and different post here and there pertaining my problem. So here goes my little story , hope its not too boring and btw im totally new to f bodies. Ive been racing ls trucks for years but never cars. I finally bought me one had been wanting one for years now, had a old 93 lt4 camaro 6 speed but never a ls. Well bought the car kind of like a fixxer upper, car has a ls1 , 228 cam, 3600 converter , lt hedders and 50 lbs injectors. Runs ok, needs a re tune definetely but thats not my problem. Problem is that the cluster wont work , volt gauge moves but dont know if its accurate and oil pressure gauge flickers when i turn on left hand signal. Everything else is dead including illumination lights inside cluster. I hooked up hp tuners and im able to see speedometer only on the scanner for hp tuners everything else onn there is also dead. One more thing that stay on solid no matter if i remove the key is the seat belt warning light. Have to remove fuse to get that warning to turn off. Here are some of my findings and things ive done. So car was manual 6 speed and is now a auto 4 speed (didnt know that before i bought it) i checked for power at vss sensor with car on and in drive and im not getting any power but speedometer shows speed on hp tuners. When i scan car with hp tuners it shows to be a 2001 trans am , checked part number on cluster and seems to be a 99-02 cluster. Found out pcm is 99-02 because the signal wires for vss sensor were in pin 20,21 where if it was a 98 it would be pin 7 and 71. Ive rear fuel sending unit for 98 is different and wont work with 99-02 pcm. But im trying to get other gauges to work and odometer as well. I checked on passenger side kick panel to inspect harness there, i have one connector that doesnt connect to anything . Ive already read the threads about re pinning a 98 for a 99-02 but in my case i think i already have everything from 99-02 a4 car well harness, pcm, and cluster atleast is what i think . Ive checked all fuses , all seem good everything else works on car, power locks, power windows, keyless entry , trunk release, radio, head lights , turn signals , stop lights , fog lights .. Just the cluster is the only issue im having to fix but cant find a solution . Dont know if its something in the tune or something that is not communicating with cluster. Or maybe a big short somewhere. Please let me know if anybody has had this problem . Im out of ideas at this point. Hope my post dont get deleted . Took me 30 minutes to type this up. Thanks again for any help .

You won’t be able to see oil pressure in hp tuners in an fbody. It’s not wired in to the data port just goes to the cluster unfortunately.
