Hey guy in need here I just did a 5.3 swap in my 1984 Monte Carlo. It was running perfectly until my wife through away my keys. So I had a new ignition and key put in. Now the car will start but dies immediately. I’ve tried unplugging senors and doing all that. I tried reset the ecu. I need help please. I have the dash out trying to chase wiring I just can’t seem to find the problem also I’ve noticed that the fuel pump well the key is in the on. It sounds like it has air in the system

 

VATS has struck again.....

 

I’m using the g body keys. How can I get pass the vats? Or I’ve even thought about just doing a carb swap to get rid of the ecu
