Reflashing ECM/TCM I did my swap almost ten years ago. I used a 5.3/6L80 from a 2010 Silverado. It is my understanding the tranny & engine are controlled with a single Control Module.
Due to reasons I’d rather not get into (kind of embarrassing), I needed to replace the tranny. The shop that did my original reprogramming is no longer in business and I think I need to reflash the ECM for the new tranny.
Been so long since I’ve had to mess around with this type of thing, I’ve got to hunt down another shop. Can the Chevy dealership reflash for the new granny without resetting the entire programming ?

The Engine is controlled by an E38 ECU
The 6l80e Transmission has its own T43 TCU built into the valve body.
