C5 Corvette LS into 3rd gen?

C5 Corvette LS into 3rd gen? I've search for a while and haven't had much luck figuring out what's needed to swap a C5 2001 Covette LS1 into a 3rd gen 1989 Camaro. It's a manual corvette engine and will be used with a 4l60e auto, which probably doesn't matter whether the vette is manual or auto because they have the rear axal mounted trans and the reason for the question. Surely someone has used a Vette LS for a swap.

Since you will be supplying the 4L60E anyway, the source of the LS1 doesn't really matter. You will have to remove the flywheel and replace with a flexplate. Doing that I would suggest replacing the rear seal on the engine; it will never be easier.
You will want a 300mm 4L60E, which came out in the Camaro in 1998 and most trucks by 2002. The last year 4L60E/4L65E that will work with your LS1 PCM is a 2008. A 4L70E will not work.
