ls1 Dash harness in 55 chevy help

ls1 Dash harness in 55 chevy help I have a 55 chevy 2dr htp that I'm installing an ls1 4l60e
and want to use the engine/trans and cluster out of a 99 z28 I have the original ls1 with harness and ECM but have a Dash harness from a 2002 ss. engine harness is damaged on 99 from accident but I have the 2002 engine harness also . Do I need the dash harness with BCM to make it work or can I just pinout the cluster and make it work. Thanks for your help
