Trying to do a t56 swap Hello and thanks for accepting me as a new member
I am building a 502 bbc and trying to run a t56 5 speed to it in a 1969 c10 3 door suburban. The t56 I picked up has the following markings other then the borg warner 3-52-066-919 and a 10 spline main shaft and I have no idea what it came out of and I am hoping someone here can tell me what it came out of and the best set up upgrades for it into my bbc 700 hp 650 ftlbs

Sounds like you picked up a 5 speed from a gm truck and not a real t56 as they are all 6 speeds. Id suggest a t56 magnum which is rated to 700ftlbs and shifts alot better than a standard t56 which is rated to 450ftlbs.
03-04 Ford Cobra T56's were 10 spline input shafts.... sell it an move on to a GM unit ('94-97 LT1 bolts up) or a new T56 Magnum that shifts lightyears better and holds more power. Remember the heavier the vehicle.... the harder it is on parts. Don't forget needing an $850 Quicktime bellhousing at that power level/weight.
The point I was making is, I'm pretty sure he has a Ford T5...
