71 cutlass Ls swap Hey everyone, new to the group. Wanted you guys opinion on doin a swap in a 71 cutlass a body. I hav a gen 3 engine gone out of a 05 Avalanche, has the car intake for it already. Not sure to go DBW or DBC and wanted a lil more info on things I should get or not to get to make swap a little easier. Also cam suggestion mount plates etc.. not trying to build a track car jus something street with a lil power. Thanks in advance for all info.

That's a GM A-Body vehicle. Holley makes a fabulous set of engine mounts, oil pan and headers that are tailor made and engineered for A-Bodies. I have no complaints about their equipment on my 70 A-Body El Camino.

@Supersmoke318 When I did my ls swap I used ICT motor mount brackets, they are cost effective quality and full beef. What transmission are you planning on running in your car? it would be a great opportunity to swap to an overdrive transmission!
