Bolt on crate 6L80 
Hey folks
a local shop helped with the programming to swap a 2010 5.3/6L80 into a Toyota Land Cruiser, 8-10 years ago and is no longer in business.
Absolutely no issues, till Last year coming back from hunting, soaked the tranny. Rebuild shops had such mixed reviews, decided to bolt in a crate tranny from Chevrolet
after the install I’m getting P0700 and P0602. The tranny should default to 3rd & reverse. But I get nothing. It starts, runs, but will not engage. I took to a local dealership to ask them to just reflash to the GM default ( I would find an HP tuner to retune after that). However the dealership got this code when hooking it up: “cyber security access failure”
Ive spoken with a few shops, and kind of leaning towards a bad TCM, return under warranty.
sorry a 40 year Toyota guy, and just dipping a toe in the Chevy world. Does any of this ring a bell, before I try and deal with a warranty issue for a swap ?
