MAF applications

I was brought an LS1 to put into a 55 Chevy. He has no MAF or IAT. Can I use a truck MAF in this situation. I have a truck MAF and Im in the process of building the harness so the difference in wiring isn't an issue. I'll just add the MAF wiring from a parts harness from a truck. Even if I bought new LS1 parts I'd have to calibrate them anyway.

yes, just get the tune adjusted for the truck MAF curve.
