I'm assuming you're going to a electric water pump to cool the car down between drag runs. I used to have an electric water pump, but that was for a dedicated, trailered drag car.

I also have a turbo drive and drag car. It has a conventional water pump. I run the temps at 180 at the track and 195 for cruising. The car has a 160 thermostat and can adjust the engine temperature with the radiator fan which is PWM controlled with a closed loop to the engine temperature. Takes only a few minutes to cool the car down to 180 in the staging lanes with the engine running.

Yes a Davies Craig pump. . My biggest reason was room. I had an LS2 vette pump on the car when it was NA and had very little room for Dan's, car ran hotter than I liked. I upgraded the fans to a Derale set up so room it a premium now.
I follow Kevin at KSR and he runs a similar set up on their drag and drive car that is way faster than ill probably be.
