153T flywheel and starter
In sourcing a starter, I've had no luck.

Has anyone out there done this?
A larger bellhousing would solve the problem, but create a lot of firewall problems and I'd rather not cut up the car.

Tilton makes a nose for their starter body that positions it for 153tooth

Bit of advice, if it's just the floor clearance, then cut the floor. Sheetmetal is much easier to work around than a custom starter. If the starter was an easy solution, then you'd see vanilla LT1 style T56's used in LS swaps
