slow ls s10

So I just bought a fairly clean 96 lt1 car for 1000 bucks with oil pressure issues and a crap optispark. Kid didn’t want it anymore and already started on a ls swap for it. I have an entire ready to drop in swap sitting in my garage now. Question I have is the car came with a bmr tube k member not installed. But the mounts are for a sbc. (I don’t think he knew what he was buying tbh) can I use the ICT sbc mount adapters for this k member or should I just source a different k member for this car? I have no intentions on going back with the lt1 when I have an engine and harness ready to go in.
