Ls1 dbw pcm Hello everyone
I was not sure where to post this note and hope this is the pest spot for it.
I'm not very active on the forum but smart enough to come to it for come here to knowledgable people here to ask for help when I get my self in a hole and try to dig my self out. I'm not a complete idiot but know enough to rebuild few cars in the past.
Making long story short, I'm in process of my longest build yet (per avatar) and getting to a point that I need to put drive train in to get mounts in, finalize all mechanical work and finish body work. So the car will have mid mounted engine and though I can have cable throttle though it would be a PITA to get it work smoothly thus I need it to have drive by wire throttle.
I originally was looking at LS2/LS3 and L99 engines for few reasons but lately I'm thinking of going with LS1. I know that LS1 had drive by wire but they had extra TCM module and I'm trying to keep it all in one module. I think the red/green harnesses where configured / able to have that option.
Wondering if any one would be able to confirm and possibly have part numbers.
Part 2. With mid engine longitual layout I'm also looking at possibly putting Audi/Porsche ZF5HP18 and couple other version of tiptronic transmissions.
Did anyone ever mated LS with one of those transaxels?
If anyone has LS long block in Toronto GTA area that is looking to sell please let me know in either this forum or private PM
