Thumbs up New exhaust

Big thanks to Don at Finishline Performance for his excellent work. If anyone here in the the Chicago area, I would strongly recommend having FLP do your exhaust.

Your exhaust looks good!

You made out better at the muffler shop than I did. I just suffered a dry hump. Spent the whole morning getting and leaving my Chevelle at the muffler shop to have them say that they cannot get the flanges for the stock 1999 exh manifolds. I didn't get them with the take out engine. No one has them. Car's back in the garage, guess I'll have to make them.

It's pretty bad when you start making frantic phone calls and the majority tells you to call "Butch" and the car is at butch's shop.

Good luck making flanges. I use 1/4" steel. They bent when I bolted them in and leaked badly so we ended up welding the bolt-on flanges to the manifold flange. It solved the leak problem, but it's going to be a PITA if I ever want to take that manifold off.

Screw those freaky gigantic FBody flanges. Just use stock 99 manifolds, cut the goofy flanges off, weld on some normal ones.
