Default New to LS3. Lost.

Long one. Brand new. Just took a1970 c-10 1/2 ton ive had for over 20 years, swapping to a 2014 camaro 6.2 w/the TR6060. Bowler all-in-one harness for trans? Y/n? Dirty dingo slider mounts? (Wtf will fit with a stainless header full length tube setup? Pn# helpful). Also.. donor camaro for fuse box for existing LS3 harness plugs? Power steering? What do i do there? Oops!🤔all help and advice appreciated. Also wanna do full length stainless w/electric cutouts part# for that also helpful. Thank you LS people!

Check out Speed Engineering (their website) for your LS swap header solution.

What are you going to use for an ECM and wiring harness? I like and use Speartech and Howell. They can supply the trans harness integrated into the ECM and harness along with a base tune to get you running. I use all GM parts.
My LS swaps are pretty mild.
You are going to have do something about the 6060 trans output shaft. It a 3? bolt fixed style. Not a slip yoke.
Power steering wise you need adapters for -6 teflon line for the pressure side. Regular PS hose for the return.
Didn't use any type of cut outs. Don't know of any built into the header flange.
I did use the Speed Engineering full length headers on a of couple swaps. They fit well and didn't leak.

Figured i’d just use the ecm and harness that came with the engine and source a fuse box from a 2014 camaro ss to start. And the bollinger all in one harness for trans for now.

Depending which ECM you use, the bowler module may or may not be required
If it can be done in the ECM, I recommend avoiding the bowler unit

DD sliders are a poor choice on the C10
67-72 C10s use frame stands and mounts attached to the block. Sliders are solid plates bolted to the block, so there is nowhere for a rubber/poly mount
There are a number of companies that offer C10 specific mounts. I don't like any of them for 67-72's and custom make mounts. I prefer to slide the engine rearward and down for a better fit

Speed engineering makes the best budget swap headers. They often need a dent or two and will relax after a few heat cycles. For the money you can't beat them

Sell the 2014 harness/fusebox. Buy either a stand alone or aftermarket ECM (EX holley terminator)

Use a 2010 camaro PS bracket and pump or change the whole accy drive

Exhaust is more universal and can be decided later down the road

I would recommend reading about gas tank swaps. Specifically, the 1969 camaro tank under the bed. Holley makes a drop in sender which works well on LS swaps
In-cab tanks have a bunch of shortcomings and the in-line pump is both loud and short lived
