O2 Sensors Wiring Question
I have a 1988 Jeep Wrangler
with a 4.8 and 4l60e connected to a P59 ECU (green & blue). The stand alone harness is of the chinese variety and i think is causing me trouble.
I purchased this swap as is and have had issues with hesitation and running rich. I have always had two codes for the heater circuits in the oxygen sensors PO135 and PO155 since I have owned it.
After testing the pin outs it looks like I have the following issues:
-ignition source at o2 sensor plug seems to have a slight continuity with battery ground.
-bank 2 heater low reference is connected to the wrong pin. I am getting continuity with Pin #75 (Generator Field Duty Cycle Signal) green connector but should be pin 74.
-heater circuit on 02 sensors has .005 ohms.
At this point i think my best bet is to run a new wire for heater low reference, run new 15 amp circuit for power and replace both o2 sensors.
Here are my questions:
-does the .005 ohm value confirm that the heater circuit in the oxygen sensors are bad?
-does my repair seem like the most logical option or is there a better way?
-does anyone have a diagram for my fuse ?
Thanks guys!!
