My 440T4 Blew many years ago in my 1989 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royal Brougham. It's in pristine condition only 100k on it from 1989. I am toying with the notion of taking a complete assembly off an impala with a 5.3 LS and slamming it in the Oldsmobile. My dad said to slam a Supercharged 3.8 in it would be easier. I really want to LS Swap it but looks to be very difficult possible custom mount welding.

 

Are you able to take accurate measurements of the Delta 88 engine compartment? Is that car considered as a GM "G-body" vehicle? If yes, plenty of G-body LS swaps have already been done.

No, this is a front wheel drive vehicle. He wants to swap in the complete LS4 drivetrain from another GM vehicle that comes with this setup.

 

If an LS4 fits in a Fiero, it would certainly fit in a front wheel drive Delta 88.
