Default Gen 3 pedal with gen 4 throttle body using Haltech

I have an 02 lq9 engine, pedal and tac going in my 72 nova. I also have a gen 4 intake and dbw throttle body to all be controlled by a Haltech rebel ls. Trying to get confirmation if I can use the gen 3 Escalade pedal or if I need to upgrade to the Corvette style. I haven't laid out my harness yet ,as I'm not to that point ,to see what the connections look like but haltech seems to think it will work without a problem. Asking here because in all honesty the tech didn't seem too sure of his answer or perhaps I wasn't explaining the setup as well as I should have. First swap so I'm still learning as well.

The basics of DBW pedals are universal across all MFRs and models

A "pedal" is essentially 2-3 TPS sensors (5v potentiometers) linked together for redundancy. Most modern units and aftermarket only use 2 sensors in the mix, so the early pedals with the extra get skipped
Whether or not the sensors are aligned, slightly out of range, or inverted is up to the MFR of that particular pedal
You can adapt just about any pedal my moving the pins around
Look at a holley DBW diagram to see how simple it gets distilled down to

That said, look at the diagram for the pedals you plan to use. You'll see Sensor A signal, sensor B 5V, sensor A Lowe ref etc
5v pins all need to go to the 5v driver from the ECM
Same for the low ref
A, B, C signals just pick two and connect them to ECM

Test function. If not, try mixing and matching
Remember that a TPS sensor can have the output value inverted by reversing the 5v and low ref pin locations. Same works for APP sensors. The one caveat is that the particular range sensors need to stay the same. EX: if you want to reverse sensor B, then the 5v and low ref pins MUST be for sensor B
